Pictures with deep captions
allcreatures:

Dozens of pairs of caiman eyes peer out from the water at night. A caiman is a type of crocodile or alligator. Depending on the angle between the reptile and the camera flash, a different colour is produced. Caiman eyes have a layer called tapetum behind their retina, containing crystals that reflect light and make night vision possible. Photographer Daniel Fox, 37, captured the scene at the Yacare Pora farm in Ituzaingo, Argentina, while working on a photography project with partner Jasmine Rossi.

Scared the shit out of me.
